Thingometri Studio is a privately operated desktop application for producing original educational science and engineering videos. The application runs locally on its operator’s Mac; it is not a public social network, cloud editor, or multi-user service.

YOUTUBE INTEGRATION
Access is limited to the production workflow.
Thingometri uses Google OAuth and the official YouTube APIs. It never asks for or stores a Google password.
Upload approved work
Upload access is used only for operator-approved, original video files and their titles, descriptions, tags, and visibility settings. It is disabled by default.
Measure performance
Read-only analytics access retrieves performance metrics for Thingometri videos so the operator can evaluate and improve future educational content.
OPERATOR CONTROL
Nothing publishes merely because it was rendered.
- Authorize
The operator selects a Google identity and verifies the API-returned channel ID.
- Produce
Scripts, media, narration, captions, and licensing evidence are prepared locally.
- Validate
Technical, factual, licensing, and platform checks run before a video becomes publishable.
- Approve
Publishing requires separate operator-controlled gates. OAuth permission alone does not authorize a post.
DATA CHOICE
Access can be removed.
The operator can revoke Thingometri’s Google access and delete locally stored YouTube OAuth and API data. Access can also be revoked directly from Google Account permissions.
